Watsonian Sidecar Outfit for the Adventurous

3 Min Read

Factory special from Watsonian Sidecar showcases possibilities for customising outfits to suit customers’ requirements.

Watsonian Sidecars have built an ‘adventure’ outfit to demonstrate the range of in-house modifications on offer.

Designed for riders who want to cover distances and maximise luggage carrying capacity, the outfit is based on a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Watsonian Grand Prix sidecar.

Professionally sprayed in Nardo Grey, the bike has been fitted with Heidenau enduro tyres, plus fly screen, handguards and a headlight grille.

In addition to matching paint, the sidecar has been treated to non-standard black alloy beading, screen surround, perimeter frame bumper and wheel rim. It also features several specially-designed accessories;

  • A pair of 5-litre jerry cans, mounted in carriers that are bolted to brackets on the sidecar frame
  • Spotlight, wired into a switch on the handlebars
  • Extra large front luggage rack
  • Two extra large rear luggage racks
  • Twin 12V sockets with a map reading light in one
  • Passenger grab rail
  • Block pattern Kenda tyre

Customers usually supply their own motorcycle, but Watsonian could build a complete Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 / Grand Prix outfit similar to the once pictured, with prices starting from £17,995 (bike in original colours with black sidecar).
